What was the highlight of Hotel Windsor Funchal
Very poor
Location is very good, easy short walk to centre, bus stop, market.
Hotel didn't fill our expectations for 4* hotel. Room was very poor, beds were basically wooden boards with rock hard mattress, child size pillow and very dated blanket. Furniture itself was very dated, no tea service on the desk, no iron ( pay service, which is very inconvenient) In general i would give 2* rating for room facilities and breakfast, all i had to eat was same croissant with cheese every morning as i do not eat any ham or pork, scrambled egg on daily basis was mixed with ham. There was no cucumber or tomato, no olives, fruit option was only banana or apple. Very poor. Also very noisy, can hear every smallest sound from neighbours and hallway, doors banging, bathroom sounds, etc.

Good value for money in an excelent part of town
Breakfast was good (apart nor having eggs), the location and the staff, who was very nice and helpful. Also the room was confortable, good wi-fi and air conditioning.
Room cleaning could be better.
